Military History Research Centre (Aust.)

Specialist in Military Genealogy and Historical Research

Who are We

The Military History Research Centre (Aust.) is a small team dedicated to the core profession of researching and documenting those individuals who have participated, in one of the services, during a war or campaign, between 1794, the beginning of the Napoleonic period and 1975, the end of the Vietnam War. Since formation in December 2005, we expanded the range of service in the portfolio to include research assistance to teachers and students, particularly in regional Australian and overseas countries where Australian military involvement has occurred on foreign soil. We assist local historical organisations, overseas family members whose ancestry includes wartime marriage, army and naval occupational forces and reconstruction efforts.

We have added further strings to the bow through our range of gilding services, a range of artefact conservation services and a limited bookbinding service for the family historian. We also offer commercial research service to government, agriculture and industry where their interest may be impacted by previous military intervention.

Services

We provide personal profiling, private research, commercial research gilding, database and conservation services.

Corporate Experience

With 15 Years of experience we have secured a wide knowledge and skills base directed to the fulfilment of the service listed above.
